Episode Summary

Yvette Medina started her career in the music industry in 2003 at Creative Artist Agency in Los Angeles in the music department. Under the guidance of Darryl Eaton and Chris Dalston, she was able to work with a wide array of artists from Blink 182, Enrique Iglesias, Bon Jovi and Ricky Martin and in the process realized her passion was for Latin music. In 2007 she moved to Miami and began working with Michel Vega, VP of Latin Music at The William Morris Agency. At WMA she was able to expand her knowledge of global touring and the music industry. By 2009 she rejoined the Ricky Martin team at Sony Music Latin as his label manager as well as label manager to artists such as Romeo Santos, Pitbull, Calle 13 and Alexis & Fido. Her creative marketing techniques and understanding of each artist’s concepts and visions led her to branch out in 2012 and open her own management company, Creative Management Firm and also continue working with Pitbull as Head of Marketing for him and his global brand. After numerous top charting singles, grammy win, worldwide tours and global brand expansion in 2016 she continued on to Jay Z’s, Roc Nation. At Roc Nation she became the General Manager of Roc Nation Latin led by CEO and global superstar, Romeo Santos. After 2 years with Rocnation Latin, she returned to artist management and has continued to focus on her own roster of talent under her own company.
